This is one of my favourite pieces of writing - and one that has resonated deeply with me and so many of the women I work with.
At certain points in life, we reach a moment where we have to acknowledge our inner knowing of: Not This.
We may not know the next step yet - but we know we can no longer stay where we are.
Elizabeth Gilbert captured this feeling beautifully in a post that has deeply resonated with people around the world.
Here’s a short excerpt that always stays with me:
" I think some of the bravest people I have ever met were people who had the courage to say the words, "NOT THIS" outloud - even before they had an alternative plan.
People who walked out of bad situations without knowing if there was a better situation on the horizon.
People who looked at the life they were in, and they said, "I don't know what my life is supposed to be...but it's NOT THIS." And then they just...left."

I’m sharing this because I know so many of us find ourselves in that ‘Not This’ moment -whether in relationships, work, or life.
Wherever you are on your path - trust that naming ‘Not This’ is a brave and powerful first step.
